Christ the Savior is Born

Christmas is Jesus

December 24, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • Luke 2:15–20

As we celebrate Christmas with our families and friends, may we be reminded of the old adage: “Jesus is the reason for the season,” because He is! The reason we celebrate and give gifts during the Christmas season is to celebrate the greatest gift of all: Jesus Christ. “For unto us a child is born, a son is given…” That son would, one day, be hung on a Roman cross, the payment and sacrifice to pay our sin debt. Why? Because “The wages of sin is death but the GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” May we truly celebrate THE GIFT: Jesus, this season.
