As followers of Jesus, we know that He has promised to return to this earth and set up his Millennial Kingdom, and in so doing, He will vanquish all those who sought to destroy Him. That will be the final rise of power that will ever be witnessed on this earth. But before then, nations will continue to rise and fall and Daniel explained this process to King Nebuchadnezzar who had dreamed about a massive statue, which depicted the future kingdoms.
