This morning we are in Genesis 39 where we are continuing our study of
one of the most important characters in all of Scripture a young man
named Joseph. God had planted deep into the heart of Joseph a vision for how he would be a part of God moving forward in His plans to redeem and reconcile fallen mankind to Himself. That plan was wrapped up in the
family line of Josephs great grandfather a man named Abraham. That
vision burned within his heart; moved him and would sustain Joseph
through all of the tremendous adversity Joseph would face.

19 But Joseph said to them, "Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? 20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. 21 So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones." Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. - Genesis 50:19-21
