When it comes to the Bible there is no shortage of opinions. Many claim that it's full of contradictions, that it's historically inaccurate and that it can't be trusted because we don't have any originals. They say that the Bible is just an invention of a bunch of people who wrote what they wanted and who stamped God's name on it to further their own desires and plans. For many these are just a few of the reasons why you can't trust the Bible. We think those questions and claims are worth talking about and that's what we will be addressing today at Main Street Church as we continue our series "The Good Book." Join us as we look into whether or not the Bible can be trusted.

Have you ever had someone tell you that the Bible can't be trusted because there are so many Translations or maybe after you explained a verse to them they responded with the statement, "Well, that's your interpretation." Why are there so many translations and how do we interpret the Bible? Those questions and more are answered in this message. Some recommended resources are Erdman Bible Commentary and Dictionary and a NLT Study Bible.
