Entering The Shack

A Biblical perspective

Entering the Shack

March 1, 2017 • Isaiah Lewis

When The Shack was self-published in 2007, the author and his associates saw a need to print only 11,000 copies. As of February 2017, 22 million copies have sold. This 50 week NYT's best-seller is theological in nature; it is often championed by other Christian authors and bloggers. Some churches have even used it as a Bible study book. But is The Shack reliable in what it teaches about God? This question has become even more important; the movie adaptation of The Shack will appear in theaters on Friday. Should believers "enter" The Shack? Join us as we pray Psalm 119:66 and evaluate The Shack: "Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments."
