When the plan doesn't make sense and feel right you can still trust the source. Jesus, being a master of communication, gives us several “statements” throughout John that answer the question of “Who is Jesus?” Jesus begins each of these statements with the words “I am…” These statements, and the definitive words that would follow each time, would have jumped out and resonated in new ways with those who originally heard them. Today these words still resound as larger than life—Jesus in 3D!
