Coming Up Short

And why that's a good thing!

You Aren't Good Enough

September 8, 2018 • Chad Garrison

We fall short. We don’t live up to our own expectations. BUT WHEN GOD declares us righteous by His Grace, We are free. Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough, can’t seem to make everyone happy or that you simply can’t handle it all? There’s great news: all these things are true–and that’s ok! The truth is, within these truths that Jesus would want to use to for us to experience freedom, the enemy of our souls would want to use against us.

You Can't Please Everyone

Living From the Approval of God means my audience of life shrinks to only ONE. There is freedom in knowing you can’t please everyone—and that you aren’t supposed to.

You Can't Handle It All

There aren't enough hours in the day, days in the week and weeks in the year. We are burdened, wearied and simply burnt out. What can we learn from scripture in how we should approach the "things" of life when we find freedom in recognizing that we can't handle it all? Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough, can’t seem to make everyone happy or that you simply can’t handle it all? There’s great news: all these things are true–and that’s ok! You Can't Control the Future

September 29, 2018 • Chad Garrison

So much seems out of our control, and yet, God doesn't seek to give us control. He wants us to trust in His power, His sovereignty, and boldly GO WITH Him. There is power in trusting in His never-ending presence in the midst of all that we never could control to begin with. Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough, can’t seem to make everyone happy or that you simply can’t handle it all? There’s great news: all these things are true–and that’s ok!
