Many of us get distracted from relationship with Christ. We have to be watchful and sober minded to protect ourselves from the enemy because he will distract us and pull us away from God. We must identify the areas that are distracting us from God.

If we’ve grown weary of Christianity, if we find most any local church uninspiring, maybe the problem lies not in the Christian faith or these faithful bodies, but in our own disgruntled hearts. In this series, WITH, we will tenderly unmask the clichéd posturing that too often masquerades as genuine communion with Christ.

Believers can develop a mentality of needing to continue to “perform” or keep certain habits to maintain God’s acceptance and favor. Constantly living UNDER His watchful eye, waiting to be punished or rewarded. But that’s not how “GOD WITH US” is meant to operate.
