A prideful Haman, despite all of his prosperity, is overcome with rage because there is one in the kingdom that refuses to acknowledge his greatness: Mordecai. Just like Haman's pride becomes his demise, our own prideful behavior can destroy relationships and reveal something inside of us that is broken. As Christians, we are called to humble ourselves, and by doing so, He will exalt us in His time and in His way.
