DARE TO RESOLVE
December 28, 2014 • Pastor Sean Jamieson
What conflicts or problems do you have in your life that you are ready to find an answer for? I want to be a person, and I want to be a part of a tribe of people, who “decides firmly to find answers and solutions to the conflicts and problems” that we, and those around us, are currently facing in life. Can we be this kind of people today? I believe confidently that the answer is yes, and I’m excited to share with you how we can achieve this together.

The Miracle of Christmas: GOD With Us!
December 21, 2014 • Pastor Steve Purdue
The miracle of Christmas is that a virgin conceived and gave birth. I have been emphasizing that truth in my last two messages. You might ask, why is this so important, why place such an emphasis on the Immaculate Conception? Because the entire Word of God, ever promise from the Lord our God, His very Character and therefore our very salvation hangs on this miracle. Just as the death of Jesus Christ is meaningless without His Resurrection (1 Cor.15) so His birth is meaningless without the miracle of Christmas – The Immaculate Conception!
The Miracle of Christmas: Let It Be!
December 14, 2014 • Pastor Steve Purdue
The great miracle of Christmas is that a virgin conceived, became pregnant with child without ever having sexual relations. That is impossible! It cannot happen! But it did! A young woman heard the word from God and said yes, LET IT BE! In doing so Mary expresses courage, faith and absolute love for God. She loved God with all her heart, with all her soul, and with all her mind as she submitted to His will. Mary believed God; expressing her hope, trust and absolute confidence in the Lord. She shows an incredible character of courage, fearing God more than man. Mary said, “LET IT BE”, how about you?
The Miracle of Christmas: For With God Nothing Will Be Impossible!

In the beginning God spoke and created the heavens and the earth and all that there is including mankind. All that God created had purpose and value, all was good. Mankind, the man and the woman, were given the privilege of being created in the image of God with the ability to have relationship with God. But man rebelled against their creator unleashing on all of creation death and all evil. Rebellion, sin brings death. There are none who are good, none. All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Man is incapable of paying the price for his sin and being reconciled to God, who is our very life.
The Supremacy of Jesus Christ: Worthy of All Praise
November 23, 2014 • Pastor Steve Purdue
Thanksgiving week I can hardly wait for Thursday’s Feast of Thanksgiving – turkey, turkey and more turkey with scrumptious mashed potatoes, cranberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie – yummy! This is my verse for enjoying this great feast and all the festivities that go with it in our home: Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” NKJV This is a day of celebrating The Lord our God and all He has done for us, don’t mourn over all your failures, focus on the One always worthy of praise and celebrate! Nehemiah’s exhortation to the nation of Israel is just as fitting for us today and every day… Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16 NKJV
The Supremacy of Jesus Christ: THE LORD IS OUR HELPER

Fear is a strong motivator. The fear of not having something or someone leads us to making poor choices. It is Just as stifling to be afraid of something or someone. What are you afraid of? Don’t answer that question to quickly without some careful reflection because what and whom we fear makes a huge difference as to how we live our life. That’s why we are commanded to fear GOD only.
The Supremacy of Jesus Christ: Trained to Live By Faith
November 9, 2014 • Pastor Steve Purdue
Faith, the title deed to all of God’s promises, it is the assurance of having what has yet to materialize. Faith, nothing pleases GOD as a steadfast faith in all that HE is and promises to do! Those that have been made just by faith must now live by faith. How to live by faith that is pleasing to God? LOOK TO JESUS!
The Supremacy of Jesus Christ: Living by Faith

Living life is like running a race, a long distance endurance footrace. Life has moments of great pleasure and joy along with unpleasant moments of disappointment and sadness. One day is great while the next day is full of tension, stress and uncertainty. How are we to run this race of life? Now the just shall live by faith… Faith in who God is, faith in what He has done and faith in what He has promised. But what is faith, how do we live by it, how do we even now we have faith?
The Superiority of Christ Jesus: Our High Priest
October 19, 2014 • Pastor Steve Purdue
Do you and I have direct access to God or do we need to go through a priest? A priest is one who is a mediator between God and man. A priest represents God to man and in turn represents man to God. God’s chosen nation, Israel, was directed by God to have an order of priests that served at the place that represented God’s presence with His nation, the temple. One of these priests was selected as the High Priest.
Superiority of Christ Jesus: Rest & Help TODAY!

In this world we live in there are many ‘things’ we can place our hope and trust in. But there is only ONE unchanging, wholly immutable and constant Hope in Whom we can place all our trust – Jesus Christ! There is in Him a very present Help in time of need and a constant rest for our souls. Are you at rest?
We Belong
October 5, 2014 • Pastor Sean Jamieson
We Belong to God. We are the house of God. Are we living like children who belong to the family OR like outsiders striving to become a part? Are we making decisions with the Word of God as our foundation OR are we basing what we believe on our ever-changing culture and a worldly mindset?
From Slavery to Family
September 28, 2014 • Pastor Sean Jamieson
God is forever in the redeeming business; He's forever in the restoring business. He's the same yesterday, today and forever and He wants to take what the enemy has meant for evil in your life and turn it into something good. He wants to pick up the broken pieces of your life and put them back together. He wants you to move out of being in that same place day after day as you are a slave to sin and thus living your life in fear and insecurity and He wants to restore to you the joy of your salvation, welcome you back to the family as a son or daughter and throw a party for you every day as He sings your praises in Heaven, waiting for an eternity spent together.
