Ladies Bible Study - No Other Gods

January 10, 2024

No Other Gods: The Unrivaled Pursuit of Christ by Kelly Minter Since Christians often have personal idols in their lives, this Bible Study will help us discover how Jesus can do what no other gods can do for us. This video-driven study has eight sessions, will begin on Wednesday night, January 10, and conclude the week of March 25. The same study is offered three times each week in-person and online: Tuesdays at 9:00am beginning Jan 16, Wednesdays at 6:00pm beginning Jan 10, and Thursdays at 6:00pm beginning Jan 18 via Zoom.  Weekly Schedule for this study:  Tuesday 9:00-10:30am (S201) Wednesday 6:00-7:30pm (S201) Thursday 6:00-7:30pm (Zoom)

Apologetics: A Reason for Belief

January 10, 2024

6:00pm -7:30pm Fellowship Hall It is the scriptural duty of every Christian to be able to “give an account for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15). As our surrounding culture drifts further from the truth, we must be ready to shine light in the darkness. Jesus really is the Answer to every question. The work of Christian apologetics is to think carefully about how that ultimate answer applies to the specific questions people around us are asking. This ten-week course is designed to help you formulate and articulate those answers.

Men's Group "The Sermon on the Mount"

January 10, 2024

Facilitator: Shawn Trotter Room: W302 Do you want to know what kind of character you should have as a Christian? What ought to define your outer way of life and your inner habit of mind? The Sermon on the Mount speaks directly to those questions, exposing us to truths that stand to test us and bring new relevance to our lives. The Sermon on the Mount brings you face-to-face with your own humanity and brings forth the lessons from this matchless model of the Christian life. No sign up needed.
