Children Developing Spiritual Disciplines

This is a 5th week of the month of April and so we wanted to help moms and dads with a special video we did recently for families. One of the most important things parents can do his help their children develop spiritual disciplines. This is not an easy task but a very important one. In this session, Dr. Karen Kennemur gives parents some foundational thoughts and basic truths that should be foundational in every home. If you need more help for your family talk to leaders at your church concerning how you can help your kids grow and build spiritual disciplines.
Matthew 6:33

John 14:6
Focus this week: Jesus serves as the gatekeeper to the Father, the definition of truth, and the source of true life. He is far more than a good teacher or prophet! Memory Verse: “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” -John 14:6
Galations 2:20
Focus this week: Our focus will be to understand that as followers of Christ, our old self has been put to death and we daily choose to let Christ live through us. Memory Verse: "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." -Galatians 2:20
