Fool's Gold

Why Settle for Counterfeit Wisdom

The Sovereignty of God

June 4, 2023 • Pastor Murray Lutzer • Proverbs 16:1–15

This week we look at Proverbs 16:1-15. This passage is a unicorn text, because it follows the same theme through 15 verses: the theme of God’s sovereignty over all things. It is very different than any other chapter in Proverbs, because it’s not a random collection of thoughts or themes like the rest of Proverbs, but it’s going to show us how God’s sovereignty rules through His Son Jesus Christ. We will be looking at God’s sovereignty and how He rules and reigns over us.

Biblical Manhood

April 30, 2023 • Pastor Murray Lutzer • Proverbs 31

In this message, we are looking at Proverbs 31 (Biblical Manhood). It’s not often we hear Proverbs 31 sermons directed to manhood, but it is very relevant for men who have ears to hear. Although we are talking primarily to men, this is equally important for women because every woman has a man in their life. And for the mothers who have boys, this is important for you to hear and reflect on as you seek to raise boys who will become godly men. Just like what we have done in past sermons in this series, we show the counterfeit (fool’s gold) that is present in today's culture, and then focus on three marks of a Proverbs 31 man.

Biblical Womanhood
