In Revelation 13:1-10, we encounter the first of two beasts in this chapter. Everyone loves a good beast story. :) This beast comes out of the sea and is given authority. With lots of speculation around this, we are going to unravel the confusion and learn what the Beast actually is and the implications for us as Jesus followers.

In Revelation 21:9-22:5, we encounter the Holy City of God: the new Jerusalem. John’s vision describes the new heavens and the new earth, and we want to be able to gaze upon this city and not lose sight of the majesty of it because we are overly obsessed with interpreting its many individual parts. John is being descriptive to help us enlarge our longing and our love for the new heavens and the new earth, and to live now in light of eternity.
