Prepare The Way

Palm Praise & Willow Worship

March 24, 2024 • Pastor Tony Stewart • Mark 11:7–10, Matthew 27:22, Leviticus 23:40

Pastor Tony shares a powerful message about the two seasons in life in which you are most vulnerable: the Willow season, when you have nothing, and the Palm season, when you have everything. Jesus loved the people and displayed the kingdom of God when they praised him and when they rejected him. His kingdom was not of this world but of the world to come.

Prayer Can Change Your Life

March 17, 2024 • Bishop Mitchell Cordor • Luke 11:1–4, Luke 11:2, Philippians 4:6, 1 John 1:9

Bishop Mitchell Cordor shares a powerful message about prayer. As we continue in our Prepare The Way series, we discover in Luke 11:1-4 how to pray. Pray is a dialogue between God and his people. Through prayer, we find that we have access to the Father’s heart for us. As the way is being prepared for us, prayer is the vehicle that will take us into what God has for us. In this message, Bishop Mitchell Cordor lays out six essential steps to help us understand how to pray.

Prepare The Way With Worship

March 10, 2024 • Pastor Kaci Stewart • Isaiah 40:3–5, Genesis 22:1–5, Genesis 22:12–14, Psalm 24:1–4

Pastor Kaci shares an insightful word about worship. Worship is not a style of music, a song, a playlist, or just part of an order of service. The Bible says in John 4:23-24 “But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people, the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Worship is obedience and surrender to God, giving him what you love most, not because we are worthy but because he is worthy.

Spirit Empowered Life

March 3, 2024 • Pastor Tony Stewart • Acts 2:1–4, Acts 1:8, Joshua 1:8, Romans 8:14

Pastor Tony shares many accounts in the Bible of How Jesus and his disciples demonstrated living a spirit-empowered life on this earth. We can learn to be spiritually fed, led, and marked to accomplish the great commission. Acts 1:8 (NKJV) says, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  The spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead is the same spirit that rested and empowered the disciples in the upper room in the Book of Acts.
