Posture, Prayer, and the Holy Spirit

April 17, 2016

April 17, 2016 • Pastor Harley Scalf

A posture of prayer and readiness positioned the apostles to receive power from on high. Jesus had told them to wait and pray. And that is what they did! Are we willing to wait on God, and while waiting, pray fervently and expectantly? If we are not willing to wait on God’s Spirit we will end up doing ministry and living life in our own strength, which is pitiful compared to heaven’s harness of power. The posture we take says everything about the desire of our heart. If we really love Jesus, we will seek to be filled with the Person and power of His indwelling presence.

Make "God Room" for the Holy Spirit

May 22, 2016 • Dr Charles Kyker

There is no limit to the Lord’s strength and power, so why does the church often limit God–who is completely holy, all-knowing, wonderful, good, and sovereign–and refuse to “wait for power from on high” to accomplish the great mission Christ has set before us? "God Room" is that space between what you can do in your own strength and what God can do in His infinitely wonderful love, power, and strength. Make "God Room" today and experience an UPRISING in Holy Spirit Power like never before!

"All In" with the Holy Spirit

May 15, 2016 • Dr Charles Kyker

It’s easy to stand up for Jesus when everyone else is standing. But it becomes very difficult to take a stand for Christ when people around you are hostile toward the things of God, especially the name of Jesus. The Lord Jesus never said following Him would be easy.

Trust in the Holy Spirit

Our Lord is an expert at unveiling beauty through our circumstances if we surrender to Him. Now more than ever, the church must remember that we serve a mighty God and He is bigger than the problems and trials we face. It’s time His people experience an UPRISING of Holy Spirit-power, and in victory rise up to be lights in a dark and broken world. The only way we can make a difference in our time is through supernatural power that the indwelling Holy Spirit alone supplies.
