Prayers for the Porch (9/3/23)

September 3, 2023 • Pastor Chad Gilligan • Luke 15:11–20

When a loved one turns away from God, one of the hardest places to be is the person waiting at home. Before you say or do something you regret, remember to pray first and be open to God's will. On Sunday, September 3, 2023, Pastor Chad Gilligan concludes his Flashback sermon series, and gives us Three Prayers For The Porch. (Originally preached as part of the https://subsplash.com/calvaryc/media/ms/+xshspxz on 10.24.21)

GPS: Acts 15 (8/27/23)

August 27, 2023 • Pastor Chad Gilligan • Acts 15:1–31

You've come to a crossroad. Whether it's with your beliefs, attitude, actions, or relationships, a decision needs to be made. But before you move, how do you know you are making the right choice? On Sunday, August 27, 2023, Pastor Chad continues his Flashback series, and reminds us that God has given us a GPS to guide us along the way. (Originally preached in the https://subsplash.com/calvaryc/media/ms/+y65bwv9 on June 24, 2018)

Never the Bridesmaid, Always the Bride (8/20/23)

August 20, 2023 • Pastor Chad Gilligan • Ephesians 5:22–32

The date is set. Invites are embossed or handwritten and mailed by the dozens. Everyone is invited. Months are spent in breathless anticipation and preparation. Days and weeks are focused solely on making sure that it will not just be a good day, but the perfect day. Why do we spend so much effort on a wedding, and so little on our actual Saviour? On Sunday, August 20, 2023, Pastor Chad encourages the church to look to Jesus as a bride looks forward to her wedding day.

What If? (8/13/23)

August 13, 2023 • Pastor Chad Gilligan • Ezra 9:8–9

Doubt, fear, the unknown can all paralyze us from what God wants to do. No matter what you are facing, God is with you, calling you to something greater. On Sunday, August 13, 2023, Pastor Chad Gilligan begins a new sermon series, Flashback, and encourages us to go beyond our “What If’s.” (What If was originally preached as The God of Your Moment, in the https://subsplash.com/calvaryc/media/ms/+b36rf5b Sermon Series, on May 6, 2018)
