Light It Up

Jesus said, “Know the truth and the truth will set you free.” Throughout history people have fought for and desired freedom in life. Freedom is the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. There are many ways to be imprisoned or enslaved of which physical imprisonment may be one of the least. The imprisonment of fear or the enslavement of addiction are a couple of the prisons we find ourselves in. And still there are more… What does a free person look like? Jesus said, “You are a city on a hill… The light of the world.” You cannot be hidden because you are free. The greatest freedom is found when we take the very areas that imprison and enslave us on a collision course with Jesus. It is engaging our lack of freedom with the One who is freedom. Over these seven weeks at Branches, we will experience a special message each week from one of our leaders who has been lit up by Jesus. They will express one of the greatest works that God has done in their lives. Our hope throughout this series is that the truth that lit them up, lights us up. Welcome to Light It Up!
