A few days after the birth of Jesus, a man named Simeon got to hold the "consolation of Israel." The consolation of Israel was the promised Lord's Christ. This message looks at the hope we have in the comfort of Jesus.

The backstory leading up to “Jesus being born, wrapped in swaddling clothes and laying in a manger” is pretty real, complicated and needed an angel to convince Joseph to stay with Mary and raise God’s Son, Jesus. This Christmas message looks at the message the angel gave Joseph which gives the plans and purpose of Jesus' birth.

King Herod vs Toddler King

In Matthew 2, King Herod does the unthinkable. In an attempt to resist and extinguish the Light of the World, He orders all boys 2 and under to be killed. Why? To preserve HIS kingdom. King Herod's story gives us a great reminder this Christmas - choose to submit and not resist Jesus.

The Christmas season is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. But for many people, it’s complicated. It’s a time of year that surfaces tensions in relationships, unmet expectations, and the pain of absent loved ones.
