You Can't Produce the Fruit of the Spirit Alone

Part 1

February 5, 2023 • Mason Adair • Galatians 5:19–21, Galatians 5:22–23, Galatians 3:2–5

The fruit of the Spirit is not about achieving something...because you can’t; it’s about knowing someone, and His name is Jesus. This message encourages us to plant the roots of our faith in the soil of the gospel and then the Spirit will begin to bear fruit in and through us.

More from Fruition

"Self-Control"

April 16, 2023 • Mason Adair • Galatians 5:22–23, 2 Timothy 2:7, Titus 2:11–12, 1 Corinthians 9:24–27, Hebrews 4:14–16

The very concept of “self-control” implies a battle between a divided self. It implies that our “self” produces desires we should not satisfy but instead “control.” God has given us the fruit of self-control because our own self can desire and crave for things that are ungodly or harmful.

"Gentleness"

Gentleness is probably the most neglected fruit of the Spirit. We live in an age of outrage. If outrage and anger is the spiritual diagnosis, then the fruit of gentleness is the medicine. If there was ever a time when Christians need to display and exercise gentleness… IT’S NOW!

"Faithfulness"

March 26, 2023 • Mason Adair • Acts 20:22–27, Galatians 5:22–23, Lamentations 3:22–23, Hebrews 12:1–2

To be faithful is to be reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Our words, promises and vows should matter. This message looks at how God delights not mainly in the greatness of the work, but in the faithfulness of the worker.
