Push Through Adversity

After the fall of Babylon, God began restoring Judah and Jerusalem. Nehemiah was used by God to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem but it didn't come with out adversity. Nehemiah's story teaches us that courageous people push through adversity and resist the temptation to compromise or quit.

In Daniel 3, 3 Hebrew exiles in the Babylonian Empire chose to take a stand for God even when others would not. Their faith in the fire was brave and it teaches us something about our own faith. Faith believes God can, expects God will but trusts God when He doesn’t.

In 2 Kings 5, an unnamed Hebrew girl extended grace in the face of her injustice. Her story shows us that courageous people extend grace even when it's hard.
