As followers of Jesus, we often resort to using cliches as responses to questions or ideas that may come our way. These responses take the form of Unquestioned Answers, such as "Just have faith", "Love the sinner, hate the sin", "It's not my place to judge", and so on. However, these simplistic statements are often left unchallenged. The question is, are they really true? This series aims to examine these Unquestioned Answers more closely.



Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin

It's common to hear that we should love the sinner and hate the sin. Of course, we should love people. And shouldn't we hate sin? The Great commandment doesn't say anything about hating sin. Maybe it's time we rethink this one.
