1. Most of the time we tend to view, define, measure, and judge what is new by referencing

it, thinking about it, and referring to it by what we already know.

2. The future cannot be defined by what has worked in the past.

3. Whenever we are trying to get somewhere or do something worthwhile, we will

encounter unexpected problems, setbacks, and attacks.

4. Anyone who is attached to the past will be miserable.

5. We often give power to the past that it didn’t really have.

6. Are we prepared for God’s new moves in the Lord Jesus Christ?
