Angus encourages us to stand firm in our beliefs instead of trying to fit in with our peers. Ask God to show you which decision is right and stand firm in it. God's opinion of you is, after all, the opinion that matters the most.

Matthew 14:9-10
"And the king was sorry; nevertheless, because of the oaths and because of those who sat with him, he commanded it to be given to her. So he sent and had John beheaded in prison."

Forgive

If Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for us says that we must forgive, then surely we must forgive others. We must not have anything in our hearts that will block our relationship with God. We need to exercise grace, undeserved favour, as God has done with us.

Born again

John 3:3–4, John 3:7

John 3:3-4, 7. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. This means that our lives need to change based on a decision we make to believe in and follow Jesus. It is a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction from where we were going. There needs to be change.

The Time Keeper

Isaiah 38:5, Isaiah 38:8

The Lord is the ultimate Time Keeper. Isaiah 38:5, 8. God gave king Hezekiah an extra fifteen years of life. God also caused time to go backwards by ten degrees on the sun dial. He is the God of the impossible, the Miracle worker. We cannot limit God.
