Uncle Angus teaches us that a quiet spirit is a great asset to a man and woman of God. We need to be still and we will be able to hear Gods voice speaking to us and guiding us.

Philippians 4:6
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"

Ephesians 2:4-6
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus"

Forgive

If Jesus Christ Who died on the cross for us says that we must forgive, then surely we must forgive others. We must not have anything in our hearts that will block our relationship with God. We need to exercise grace, undeserved favour, as God has done with us.

Born again

John 3:3–4, John 3:7

John 3:3-4, 7. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. This means that our lives need to change based on a decision we make to believe in and follow Jesus. It is a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction from where we were going. There needs to be change.

The Time Keeper

Isaiah 38:5, Isaiah 38:8

The Lord is the ultimate Time Keeper. Isaiah 38:5, 8. God gave king Hezekiah an extra fifteen years of life. God also caused time to go backwards by ten degrees on the sun dial. He is the God of the impossible, the Miracle worker. We cannot limit God.
