He encourages us to seek God when we have a big decision to make.
Jonah 1:1-3
"Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord."

In Whom do you believe?
Hebrews 13:8, Deuteronomy 32:39, Revelation 1:8, John 16:7
Hebrews 13:8. Deuteronomy 32:39. We need to understand and know in Whom we believe. Revelation 1:8. He is God, there is no other God. He is the great I Am. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus said, if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father. John 16:7. There is no other God.
Comfort His people
Isaiah 40:1
Isaiah 40:1. Jesus wants us to comfort those who are hurting. To comfort people we can't just quote scriptures to them and preach to them, we need to give them time, spend time with them because their hearts are broken. They are morning a lost one. Love them and weep with them.
