God's Blueprint for Life

Part 3 - The Poison

November 12, 2023 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett

The Bible records the life of King David. The Bible mentions a very close relationship between God and David as it describes David as being a man after God’s own heart.

God also gave to David a divine and eternal promise delivered through Nathan the prophet known as the Davidic Covenant. This was an unconditional covenant through which God promised to David and Israel that the Messiah (Jesus) would come from the lineage of David and would establish a kingdom that would endure forever.

At the end of David’s life his son Solomon was designated by God as the replacement for David. The first in the long lineage of David leading to the Messiah. In 1 Chronicles 28 David gives to Solomon a blueprint for successful leadership both personally and nationally as king and urged him to embrace the blueprint. That blueprint has not changed and remains the blueprint for any and all people wanting to live or lead successfully today.

This program is part three of a three-part emphasis that identifies the wisdom of David as given to Solomon as David prepares to die and Solomon prepares to ascend the throne.

AI, Technology, & The Christian

April 21, 2024 • Sam Rohrer, Isaac Crockett, Guest: Patricia Engler

Sam Rohrer and Isaac Crockett are joined by guest Patricia Engler (Answers in Genesis) to discuss this important topic by going to the heart of the cause and defining the solution. While the technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was seemingly birthed just months ago, as a concept or goal it was not. In fact, the ambition to create and advance a technology with such presence as to be global, with such power as to be individually personal and accessible, and with such responsiveness so as to be instantaneous and controllable by a few global elite is not at all new. How should Christians respond to AI?  Join us as we continue to look at the topic “AI, Technology, & The Christian”. We hope you’ll find the program challenging and informative.
