Acts 15:1-15

March 10, 2024 • Craig Nickols • Acts 15:1–15

The story of scripture is not what man can do for God, but what God has done for man through the finished work of His Son. For those who have trusted in Christ, God has positioned them in His amazing grace; His unmerited and undeserved favor. The Enemy of our souls will always try to move the believer from his or her position of Grace by condemning their hearts or by using false teachers who seek to weasel their way into a fellowship in order to control and manipulate the lives of the believer for selfish gain. Join us for our study in Acts 15 as we take a look at the church in Antioch and how Paul and Barnabas responded to these false teachers.

For the first time in his life, Saul of Tarsus, on that road to Damascus was confronted with the reality of his true condition before a holy God. This proud, murderous, religious zealot who was filled with rage and prejudices against the gentile world found grace at the feet of Jesus. He was profoundly impacted by grace, the unmerited, undeserved favor of God. Join us in our study as we look at how the Apostle Paul went on to become the Apostle of Grace.

The Power of the Gospel & An Unlikely Convert

June 11, 2023 • Craig Nickols

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not a basic elementary teaching of Christian Orthodox. It is the very foundation of which our faith is built upon. It has been changing and transforming lives for thousands of years. It is not just a New Testament doctrine. It has always been God’s great plan to seek and to save the lost from sin beginning all the way back in the book of Genesis. Join us for our study in Acts 9 as we take a look at the power of the Gospel and the life of an unlikely convert.

In the life of the believer, there are seasons of great blessing and seasons of great testing. Jesus’ disciples were coming off of an incredible three year period of doing ministry with Jesus. Isaiah 6:1-8

November 20, 2022 • Jake Curtis • Isaiah 6:1–8

In Isaiah 6: 1-8, we encounter the holiness of God through the vision of Isaiah the prophet. We see that God is Holy, Holy, Holy, and in His presence, man is utterly unholy. But God, who is a sovereign and gracious Lord, has mercy on the sinner and revives the spirit that is lowly and contrite. He cleanses the iniquity of Isaiah, equips and calls him into the work of the ministry.
